• Afoos lake and fountain-head

The lake's origin lies in the foothills of an arch shaped mountain with the same name. The water is mainly used in agriculture and locals believe the lake to have miraculous effects, hence they offer different things as oblation. It reaches its peak conditions from late march until mid-june.

• High mountain ranges

These mountains are usually covered in snow and home to several streams. Also, they are located in the vicinity of Afoos city and contain plains and magnificent vegetation.

• Afoos fritillaries plain

The plain is located 160km west of Isfahan. The fritillaries bloom in the second half of spring and offer visitors a picturesque scenery, but unfortunately they do not have a long lasting life. These flowers are also used as herbal medicines. It is believed to be a mythical flower as Ferdosi in Shahnameh narrates that by watching the death of Siavash this flower has become ashamed and could not rise its head up again.

• Aghcheh lake dam

This lake dame is situated 42km west from the city center and is highly suggested for fishing activities. The streams reaching this river, cross many rich grasslands and vineyards on their way.
