Safa Historical house

Safa Historical house is related to safavid era and was rebuitl in Qajar era in order to do cloth bussiness there. the house was repaired again in 2014 and started its activity as an ecolodge since then. It includes 7 rooms for accommodation. 

Tourist attractions of Aran va Bidgol

• Maranjab caravanserai

As the most other attractions of this region, Maranjab caravanserai was also built in Safavid era on Shah Abbas' order. It is located 50km north of the city of Aran va Bidgol, next to the salt-lake. Formerly it functioned as a resort and a place for silk road guardians' habitation. After the Islamic revolution it was inhabitable for a while and was occupied by its owner's flock but after a while it was renovated and is now being used as a desert accommodation for visitors. In addition, there is an ab anbar supplying the place with sweet water. By and all, the caravanserai is in the form of a square shaped fort surrounded by 6 watching towers on its walls.

• Imamzadeh Muhammad Hilal mausoleum

This holy place benefits from such an eye-catching ornamentation and architecture, the portal, the majestic entrance, vast precincts decorated in tilework, a great dome, plaster works, and artistic tile work ornamentations to name but a few. It was built before Safavid era and the mirror ornamentations of the ceiling was done on Karim Khan's-the founder of Zand dynasty- order.

• Raieseh traditional bathroom

The place was constructed in Safavid dynasty. It has two separate doors for men and women and is consisted of 3 main spaces.

• Maranjab desert

The desert is located in the north part of county. Different debates on the way it was named, one says it was named by Shah Abbas and the other thinks its name was due to the difficulty of deriving water in it. Salt lake, haloxylon forest and a clear sky are some of its attractions.

• Yakhab hunting forbidden zone

It is located 4km west and has northern neighboring borders with Kavir national park. It is also home to some in danger animals.

• Salt-lake

It is located 35km away from the city and is dry most of the year, though the scenery after rainfall and evaporation afterwards is magnificent. Different geometric patterns have been made because of the sediments. Of other attractions of the salt-lake we can name Konjeh salt-mersh, a man-made well, sand dunes, Yakhab mountain, Matin Abad camping site, Kolang mountain and Korshahi fortress.

• The floating island of salt-lake

This island is situated 15km from the north coast of the lake. The island seems floating due to the heat, optical illusion and refraction.
